We are the film makers from St Margaret’s CE primary School in Lincolnshire in the UK. We are all in Years 4 and 5 (aged 8 to 10): Holly, Annabelle, Farrah, Emily, Chase and Tristan. Our school is very rural and surrounded by farmland. We are very close to the sea and the nearest city is about an hour away.
During the first lockdown we made films at home. We thought a lot about the camera angles and the types of shot we used. Since returning to school e have been watching the lumiere minutes and have discussed how time is different for different protagonists.
We are in Lockdown again but looking forward to doing exercise 1 soon. In the meantime we are watching film clips at home together via zoom.
